FAQ exhibitors and speakers 2017

What are the assembly and disassembly times for our booth?

On both days, assembly time is between 8.00 am and 10.00 am and disassembly time will be between 5.00 pm and 7.00 pm.

I need additional assembly time for my stand. How can I organise this?

Send an email to Barbara at: bvandenbroek@drongotalenfestival.nl. In consultation with her you can agree upon assembling your stand on Thursday evening after 7.00 pm or we can provide some extra help during assembly time to be ready on time.

What are the opening hours of the festival?

On both days, the festival is open from 10.00 am until 17.00 pm

Are there any lockers avalaible?

There will be an attended cloakroom on the ground floor.

Where can I store my materials when the festival is closed?

We advise you to take your valuable items back home. You can leave all other materials at your stand. When you have a lot of materials, please contact our producer Barbara to discuss the possibilities at: bvandenbroek@drongotalenfestival.nl

Where can I park my car?

The Jaarbeurs has its own parking areas where you can park your car. Per booth, you will receive 1 free exit card.

How can I order extra room facilities (furniture, electricity connections, etc.) for my booth?

What lunch options do we have?

It is possible to choose between a vegetarian or a meat lunchbox. The lunchbox contains two bread rolls, a bottle of orange juice, one piece of fruit and a treat.

Is it possible to order some coffee and tea for our booth?

Unfortunately, you cannot pre-order a pot of coffee or tea. In the main hall, there will be two distribution points for coffee, tea, and other beverages. There you can buy your refreshments.

Who is our contact person during the festival?

Barbara, our producer, is ultimately responsible for the daily routine at the festival. But during the festival you can also ask questions to the volunteers who will be present. They will introduce themselves at your booth. In the main hall, there will also be an information desk where you can request additional help. Barbara and one of the volunteers will check regularly with the information desk if there is any help requested.
Are you one of the speakers? Please register at the information desk on the second floor near the DRONGO elevators. At the information desk, somebody will guide you to your room.

When can I come in to check the presentation for my session?

We kindly request you to email your presentation no later than 15 September. We will make sure your presentation is saved on the laptop that you will be using during your presentation. All speakers will be having 45 minutes to perform their presentation with a maximum of 5 minutes extra to complete the presentation. This means you have about 10 minutes prior to your session to check if everything is set correctly.

How many employees can I bring to the festival?

You can have 3 exhibitors in total per stand per day.
If you are a flexhibitor, we expect you to be alone.
If you are preforming a LAB, we will discuss with you prior to the festival how many employees can join, this regarding the available space.
There will be a badge for every speaker.

When will the floor plan be available?

No later than 1 September.

Which Internet options will be available?

Everyone can use the Wi-Fi hotspot. However, if you want to be sure of a proper connection, we advise you to use a dongle (at your own costs) or you can notify Barbara at: bvandenbroek@drongotalenfestival.nl that you would like to join in the DRONGO network. The extra costs for this network depend on the number of users.
We advise you to put any footage on a USB stick so you can be sure there won’t be any problems.

What is the NEMO Science Live Award?
